These terms apply when you book with Dr Poolittle's, a sole trader based in the Melton Mowbray area. Contact: jmmartin20@yahoo.co.uk.
We collect dog waste from your garden, and clean wheelie bins if you book that, on Saturdays or Sundays. We take the waste away and dispose of it legally as a registered waste carrier.
You pay by card through Stripe when you book. Weekly pick-ups are charged each week, starting on the day you book. One-off pick-ups and bin cleans are charged once. We'll email to confirm your first visit date.
You need to give us access to your garden, for example through an unlocked side gate or a gate code. If we can't get in, or it isn't safe to go in, we'll text you and come back at the next opportunity. If we can't make a visit you've paid for, we'll refund it or credit it against a future visit.
Dogs can stay in the garden if they're comfortable with strangers. If a dog seems anxious or aggressive, we'll ask you to bring them in. If no one's home, we may have to skip that visit, and we'll text you to rearrange.
We work in all weather except deep snow or frozen ground. In that case we'll come as soon as conditions allow.
You can cancel weekly pick-ups at any time by emailing us. We'll stop charging from the next week.
By law you have 14 days from booking to cancel. Because you've asked us to start within those 14 days, if you cancel during them we'll refund what you've paid minus the cost of any visits we've already made.
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of a weekly pick-up. You can cancel before the new price starts.
If something isn't right, email us and we'll put it right.
